As always, a portion of the rental rate is given to the Camp Nelson Conservancy to "help acquire, preserve, and maintain for public enjoyment those natural and historic features of the Upper Tule River region of the Sierra Nevada Mountains."
"Wow! This quaint little RV Park is set in the most beautiful location. The drive up to Camp Nelson is stunning, as the road meanders through the mountain I was wondering where we were going to end up. Eventually we reached the RV Park and the drive up was worth the effort, the park was beautifully quiet and the snow capped mountains picturesque."
"The campground was clean and appears well maintained. The tent spots are huge compared to many campgrounds I've stayed at. Everyone at the local store that I encountered was very friendly and welcoming. Overall this place is amazing and will look forward to camping here again."
"My husband and I went last year for a quick get-away and fell in love with your RV campground. Although we had to leave a day early because of the fires, we had a fabulous and relaxing time. This year, we are taking the whole family. We can't wait to visit again."
"Secret gem in the lower Sequoias. Quiet during our stay in mid April. Some good hiking trails near by."
"Great affordable camping, and unlike the public options in the area, you can actually book a site without having to fight the reservation bots."
"Wonderful camping park! Beautiful views, conveniently located store just up the road
(3 min walk), fun meadow for kiddos to run around in town, hiking trails nearby. Everyone was very nice, everything was super clean. Peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the fresh air. Don't forget to feed the ducks!"
